KensingtonResort JirisanNamwon is located next to Chunhyang Theme Park and 1 km from Namwon Bus Terminal. The resort houses an on-site buffet restaurant, a café and a seasonal outdoor barbecue area.

All rooms come with either a bed or a Korean futon mat on Ondol, Korean heated flooring. The small kitchen includes a rice cooker, an electric kettle and a 4 seater dining table. Private bathroom is fitted with a shower.

What was the highlight of KensingtonResort JirisanNamwon
OK if you sleep well on a futon
We chose this hotel only because it fit best into our travel plan, i.e. to stay overnight at a place easily accessible and away from crowded places. We booked a Deluxe Plus Room with one bed and 2 futons. It is huge, with an enormous amount of unused/unusable space. We are sure, the hotel could attract more guests by also offering rooms with two beds. Breakfast was very good and at a very reasonable price. There was no noise at night, neither from the street, nor from the hall or other rooms. We appreciated the free parking in front of the hotel.
There were no luggage racks. My wife slept well in the bed. I took the futon, which I found quite hard (but I knew this before I booked, so my fault).

Holiday apartments close to jirisan national park.
Kensington resort offers apartment style rooms. It's not 5 star luxury, but a bit basic like you would expect from a simple holiday apartment. It was tidy and clean, and was not half as bad as some people suggested. The rooms were updated in 2019.
We enjoyed our stay here. It met our expectations as we know what a Korean room is like.
